• Responsibilities : 

  • Projects Implementation , Training for DBAs, BI developers Corporate Teams.

  • Follow up the performance , Progress of the Database team in all onsite projects (MS SQL Server, Oracle,  MySQL, DB2, Informix, and postgre, others…).

  • Implementing & Maintaining SQL Server & Oracle Database systems.

  • Database development (with SQL, including Azure SQL) – designing and building database solutions (tables/stored procedures/Views/Triggers/queries/etc.)

  • Conduct the migration from legacy database systems to new advanced database systems and ensuring a smooth transition.

  • Responsible for maintaining the physical database design, security enforcement, and database performance plan.

  • Provide 24/7/365 support & monitor for all enterprise databases to ensure their stability/growth, performance KPIs proactive monitoring.

  • Experience in Writing documentation for a database including data standards, procedures, like health check.

  • MS SQL Server ,Oracle Databases Maintenance, Administration & troubleshooting.

  • Installing & Configuring MS SQL Server 2000, 2005, 2008, 2008R2, 2012, 2014,2016,2017,2019.

  • Implementing SQL Server DB Mirroring, Replication, Failover Clustering, Log Shipping , AOAG.

  • Create Linked Servers to SQL Servers and other databases such as Oracle, MySQL, and Informix etc.

  • Involved in database designing using Normalization.

  • Involved in Data modeling; designing and building relational databases.

  • Implementing a Data Warehouse with SQL Server & Oracle DB Engines.

  • Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.

  • Daily,weekely and quarterly check list operations.

  • Monitoring and Performance Tuning; Server Level settings, Database level settings ,query tuning , memory settings, monitoring CPU usage and Disk I/O activity etc.).

  • Combining knowledge of SSIS/SSAS/SSRS/Power BI technologies with a deep understanding of data structure / data models to design, develop, and tune BI solutions and reports.

  • Routine ops (Shrinking, partitioning, stretching, tuning, maintaining indexes, ETL, others)

  • Applying latest Service Packs and Hot fixes and successfully Upgrading DB Servers , HA,DR Solutions (SQL Server/Oracle)

  • Creating Analyses and Dashboards Using OBIEE 11g / BI Publisher.

  • Monitoring & Maintain SQL Server DB using Server Maintenance Plans.

  • Schema Changes to the database as per application team requirement.

  • Automated Administrative tasks using OS batches & Engine Jobs and Alerts.

  • Ensure all database servers are backed up in a way that meets the business’s Recovery Point Objectives (RPO).

  • Test backups to ensure we can meet the business’ Recovery Time Objectives (RTO).

  • Data Extraction, Transformation, and Loading Methods (ETL tasks).

  • Monitor and maintain Database health, performance and security.

  • Query Optimization for SQL queries.

  • Develop and maintain scripts, stored procedures, views etc.

  • Setup Test, Dev, Staging and Production Environments (SQL Server – Oracle)

  • Monitoring and Performance Tuning; Server Level settings, Database level settings, query tuning, memory settings, monitoring CPU usage and Disk I/O activity etc.).

  • Implementing Data analytics reports and Dashboards using Microsoft BI Solutions.

  • Configuring SQL Server DB Policies and users auditing.

  • Planning & Creating Backup & Recovery Strategies for SQL Server DB Engines.

  • Installing and Configuring Oracle DB Server 10gR1, R2, 11gR1, R2, 12c,18c,19c.

  • Configuring Oracle Backup & Recovery Solutions using RMAN Scripts.

  • Configuring Oracle DB Recovery using Flashback Technologies.

  • Implementing , configuring Oracle : RAC , DataGaurd , Streams

  • Ability to match technical solutions with customer business requirements
